Alfonso de Angoitia Noriega has been the executive vice president of Grupo Televisa, one of Mexico’s main cable TV operators, since 2000, and also currently serves as member of its executive office of the chairman. He was tapped as director of Liberty Latin America Ltd. in late 2017. Under Noriega, Grupo Televisa was brought into a partner agreement with Univision, which extended its content licensing agreement significantly. Aside from his work in media, he serves as chairman of the board of trustees of Fundación Kardias, a non-profit for improving the care for children who suffer from congenital heart defects.
